"Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things."

- Philippians 4:8

God wants whatever you want. God's will is your will.

Throught the Bible it is shown that God gave you the power to create with your words and your thoughts. In doing so, God gave you the ability to decide whether you want to be rich or poor. If you decide that you want to be rich, you will be rich. If you decide that you want to be poor, you will be poor.

If you focus your words and your thoughts on prosperity, you will prosper. Don't focus on the lack of prosperity in your life. Instead, look within at the prosperity that already exists within your heart. Focus on the love you find there.

God wants what is best for you. Yes, He would prefer to see you prosper in all areas of your life, but if you decide that you want to be poor, He will abide by your decision. God loves you. He might try to guide you towards the path of prosperity with a nudge here, a thought there, but as a loving Father He will allow you to create your own life. He will not abandon you.

So, what do you want - to be rich or poor?

But its easier to see God when you're poor since you go through sufferings and that's when you really start to seek for God
When everythings going well, you just don't care about God but when you suffer, you start to look for God's help and then you become closer to Him

yeah i agree it is harder to remember God, and to pray to him, when you are rich and you have everything...

We must remember to pray even when things are going good!

What do you mean by that?

I don't consider Christianity a hobby, it is a way of life.

From my knowledge of Truth, God doesn't judge you by how rich or poor you are. I mean, yeah, He DOES want us to be fruitful and succeed in all we do and by success I mean becoming and accomplishing the goals that GOD has set for our lives. It's becoming the person GOD wants us to be. That's success in God's eyes. Success is NOT the accumulation of wealth. That's how the world sees it and my friend worth by human standards is a lie. In Matthews, Jesus says that a rich man entering the Kingdom of God is like a camel going through an eye of a needle. Being rich is NOT a sin. It's about what you do WITH it. Remember where it all came from... every good thing comes from God. Well you ask, well can't I be prideful for what I have? No..but you can PRAISE and THANK God for the material blessings and everything else that He has given you!

I ditto what Matt said. It's a way of life, if that's what you think, you are out of something. You are basically missing out on what life TRULY is and what life TRULY is meant to be about. It's not about what YOU think is right or rational. Ask yourself what's the TRUTH? Do you know what the Truth is? If not, you've been decieved, greatly. But you know, there is someone you loves you so much that He created you for His love, His mercy, His grace, His offer for salvation and eternal life. If today you hear God, don't harden your heart but open up the walls and let Him in. God wants to show you His love for you. Look at the cross...Jesus bore your sins and mine and the sins of the whole world so we can be saved and worship Him and praise Him and live for Him and His glory<3
